The Association of Finnish Lawyers works for the interests of its members both in the public and private sectors. The basis for the interest work is in protecting the employee benefits of lawyers. The Association of Finnish Lawyers follows the labour market of lawyers closely and seeks to influence it. The objective is to maintain a balance between the demand and supply of lawyers. The Association has done many studies on the employment of lawyers and strives, among others, to influence the intake numbers of faculties of law and the content of law degrees. Also the quality of education and public respect influence the wage level of lawyers.
